In the late 1950's Hammer Film Productions submitteted a half-hour U.S. pilot for an intended Frankenstein series to star Anton Diffring as Baron Frankenstein. In the pilot, Don Megowan played a very Universal-ized Frankenstein Monster, but the pilot was never sold.
