Huge thanks to the original ripper at www.secret-cinema.com for this release via BitTorrent. I couldn't find the person responsible, so I couldn't say thanks in person - but believe me, if I could have, I would have - so if anyone knows who took the time and effort to rip this with such aplomb, please say thanks to them, from me.

As such, I cannot take any credit for this release, nor do I intend to. I have merely 'acquired' a complete version and would love to propagate it on the ed2k network, partly to say thankyou for the fantastic releases I have been treated to in my very short membership at this fine establishment, and the groups involved (STR, etc) - you really have made my world a little darker - in the nicest possible sense..

This movie came as a bit of a shock to me when I originally saw it on good old Bravo many years ago - never heard of it, didn't like the sound of it, another Boris 'Cash-In' Karloff movie me thought. Me thought wrong.

Fans of genuine British gothic Hammeresque movies (a la Tyburn, Amicus) will just melt at the sight of this one - a real 'hidden gem' of a movie, The Sorcerers has all the facets of the classic British horror movie - grit, guts and yes - a little bit of gore - but essentially it is WELL strange - something that has been attempted on many occasions, but has rarely come off.

Anyhow, enough of my yakking.. here's the rip details - apologies for the VD screencap - I couldn't be bothered to create an .NFO, nor did I consider it appropriate.

Here's some screencaps of the movie itself..

Here's the iMDB link - not that they know much.. ;)

And finally, here's the ed2k links..

The.Sorcerers.1967.DVDRip-Boris.Karloff-Michael.Reeves
SECRET-CINEMA.COM<< GIVE THESE GUYS A CLICK - THEY DESERVE IT.

Hope I've got this right - if I haven't, please feel free to let me know (I'm sure you will ). File is set to 'Release', but my ISP is pretty slow - please bear with me.

Did I mention that I love this site? ;)

Regards,
LiN

P.S. Connection will fall off from time to time, as I have commitments to an internet radio station that demands all of my bandwidth.. but that's another story..

One small thing...
No need to use code on the ed2k links:

Just pasting the ed2k link by itself will do and the board can offer up the size and a way to check availability automatically:
ed2k: The.Sorcerers.1967.DVDRip-Boris.Karloff-Michael.Reeves.avi  [699.06 Mb] [Stats]

Thanks for the release, and most folks here are patient and won't mind your down time.

In the immortal words of Rocky Balboa..'Yo Adrianne, I diiiiiid iiit!!!!'

There are now several completed transfers of this movie on the network. Thanks again to secret-cinema.com for the original file, and to everyone here at the site for being patient with my xfer rates ;)

If I happen across anything else worth spreading amongst the community, I surely will.

Did I mention I LOVE this site?

Keep up the fine work - my life would be a little less dark without it.

Regards,
LiN
