I have a version of Benjamin Christensen's brilliant "Häxan", but I have a question as well:

I ends with a witch being burned, and then fades out, but the movie's finished before the fading is complete - a bit abruptly. I don't know if there are supposed to be any credits after that or what, but I'm unsure if this is the correct ending.

Can't seem to remember right off hand..I am going to have to look at our copy(Yeah...we got this and it's ugly brother coming too for release). I do know that there are 2 differing versions of the film so you migh tbe watching Witchcraft through the ages....I'll check it out today and get back to you...I certainly don't remember an abrupt ending though.

I'm sure this is an incomplete version, but if it's just a matter of an non-aesthetic rather than incomplete ending, it's fine with me :)

That is the ending...Although my copy doesn't have an abrupt ending like that...STR will be releasing this next up so maybe you can get our version...it will be the most complete.

For those that are interested there is a nice article at Turner Classic
Movies about the film:

http://www.tcm.com/underground/movies/index/?cid=184996

It is also showing December 21, 2007 at 2am on the same channel.
