I saw some of it.
Their spokesman said they'd increased the CS staff from 50 to 250 to cope with all the calls coming in.

Apparently 27% of people with Bulldog want to quit the service.

They've now stopped advertising so they don't compound the problem, although their still taking on sales staff to cope with the new people who want Bulldog, who've heard how good the service is through word of mouth :wacky:

spud has been doing some serious PR lately for them but still 27% want to leave  maybe spud should have gone onto Watchdog to do nothing else but smack Nicky Campbell and praise Bulldog, i'm sure that would have kept some of the 27% loyal to Bulldog seeing Campbell get a slap :wacky:

you want me to lie or something? If i've never had a problem with them i can't really do much about it can i?

Infact i'm quite surprised, the way you go on about it your making it out as though 100% want to leave.

1 in 4 wanting to leave is still a pretty bad statistic IMO but each to there own and aslong as you aren't getting screwed over by em it's all good innit :)

More perspective on the nature of "you only say something if you want to complain"
http://www.fileheaven.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=55157

I suspect longterm existing costumers will continue to say the same thing about bulldog.

i thought blueyonder copied everything ntl did though? Well good for them... NTL are wankers.

Why didn't you go with blueyonder, or are they smellywest only?

Unless you live next door to your local exchange, I seriously doubt you will have a regular, satisfying service (If you get Bulldog).

Simple reason being Bulldog do not have the hardware in place to support the current speeds, let alone 24mbit.

I would say that until the "big" ISP's start offering at least 8mbit services, keep with 3mbit. ;)

/me awaits reply from satisfied bulldog customer....

BTW, hi all! :) :beerchug:

Does TeleWest Blueyonder count as "big" ISP?

Oh and to paraphrase PCA, yeah it does work fine, I have spoken to a few ppl who have already been upgraded.

You are confusing ADSL with cable?

Obviously 10 meg is pretty hard to get on P2P, hell it is hard enough to get online unless you get a great server.

Oh, I also heard Bulldog were having problems, yet almost all ppl I speak to are happy.

TeleWest do alot of their business customers via ADSL, or atleast they used to.

Yeah, it's a shame for Smellywaste customers as Simon Duffy, NTL chief clown will be ruinning (sic) the combined company, so get ready for caps and NO network investment.
