Horror Remakes - What would you like to see remade?

In american markets, thats the way it goes. Hard to justify that I guess. Everything is an emulation, becomes a standard practice.

They guy here who wouldn't is lying.

His music is shit, its cashing in on its own name. His films have impressed me more than his solo music has.

I could say "I'd make the best horror" but I don't, so at least he did, and maintained dignity in the process. I bet MArilyn Manson would make a better horror movie, at least write it.

I think that 1000 Corpses is great. An incredible labor of love crafted over many years. It benefitted from losing out on distribution so long. The mediocre Devil's Rejects, unfortunately, may be a better reflection of Rob Zombie's talent as a director. I hope not, but I fear it.
What about remaking Plan 9 From Outer Space? That would be sweet. Or Manos, Hands of Fate? Movies that Hollywood cannot possibly make worse. And, when they do, we just stare in slack-jawed awe, unable to turn away.

I agree wholeheartedly, I've always wondered why hollywood remakes GOOD (or at least passable) films, why not remake crap films with interesting premises, and make better films from them?

Although Boogeyman shows that they even screw that up :lol:

i wish they'd stop with remakes and come up with original crap, wickerman for example, the original was kinda wooden but watchable. give it 10 years and they'll remake scream, final destination and remake the american remake of Ringu
