Just saw this thread. Can anyone tell me why you can't have your upstream going with max speed 24/7? Is it mentioned in the agreement?

@Polityk, with my ISP it seems to boil down to servers and the rules governing them. My ISP does not allow unauthenticated servers and classifies P2P as a server if you are sharing.

They are soon to change the rules tho and will allow almost anything, until it causes a problem to other users, and they admit the network does not handle alot of upstream bandwidth very well as it was designed primarily for downstream bandwidth.

I am lucky a smy area of the network is fairly under-subscribed and the load is light, and thus far I have caused no problem to other local users, but that day may come tho with me uploading over 1gig per day, but until that time comes they can get fucked.
