I've watched :-

Nikos The Impaler (2003) SiCK AKA Violent Shit 4
The House On The Edge Of The Park (1980)
Rabid Grannies [Troma, 1989]

And of those 4 House on the edge of the Park is the only one I'd watch again (or would have watched at all if I knew what they were like(!)

House on the edge of the park is pretty good :)

I really want to see 'The Hand' too! It was on BBC over Halloween but I missed it :x

The best films I've seen recently are:

I Drink Your Blood
The Cube
Deadbeat At Dawn
Hitch Hike
Class of 1984

The worst film I've recently is:

Blood Feast 2

I'm about to put a link up for Class of 1984 in DVD-rips so go and get it, it's too cool!

I'll just post a few points but look at the rating system on the frontpage. My recommendations get 4/5 stars :)

Just watched eXistenZ, thought it was cool but only cronemberg's direction, the film wasn't as impressive as I anticipated. Bilbo/Ash is always welcome in any film though :)

I refreshed my memory by watching castle freak, that's pretty cool. Hardly top notch though.

'Riget' / 'The Kingdom' is a must see:

TV series that are a must see:
Angel Series 5 is the best so far, and being that angel has developed into a better show than buffy, you might want to take a look:

Carnival? is great stuff, very impressive. Frontpage link should be up tonight. There;s a forum thread though

Don't get started on TV Series Spud, I have rare free time as it is too watch films, let alone TV Series.

John Doe is the only one I make time for at the moment on sci-fi channell!

Now I was a massive Fan of Angel untill series 3 but stopped watching for some reason or another and have been meaning to get some info on where the series has gone, and you reckon it's still kick ass?

Will have to free some bandwidth up, and download the new ones!

Cheers for the links too

Series 5 is without a doubt one of the most stylistic and easily the best thus far. Vastly increased budget, but still brilliantly written imo.

Don't want to spoil anything but the new characters rock.

I like John Doe (they cancelled it though  ... damn them!) one of Sci-fis best (although not anywhere near the best of the best, Farscape which was brilliant from the end of series 1 onwards). I would however strongly recommend Carnival?, it is very, very good and goes from strength to strength. Very rare for a series to maintain such a standard all the way through (touch wood). Angel is also yet to have a dud episode this season too so it's a good season this year :)

The Kingdom is worth a watch only two 'series', it's a movie at heart (and is due to be remade as a film, so if you ain't seen you need to so you can make those smug comments like we did for ringu/The Ring )

I second Spud on Riget (aka Kingdom), one of the best horror series.

Also Twin Peaks, if you haven't seen it yet.

And Carnivale looks interesting too.

And if you like pure action, perhaps you should download yourself a series of 24.

I just bought 'L.A. Takedown' on dvd which is the original movie from which Heat is a remake of, and although it does not have as big leading stars, I actually thought it was overall a better movie. Same director (Michael Mann) made both versions. Any interest? http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0097700/
