It doesn't mention the floor. But I guess there must be a window, because otherwise you could have gotten into the room in the first place.

Stupid bloody riddle  Look in the mirror to see what you saw, take the saw and cut the table in half, join the two halves to make a whole, put the hole in the wall and climb out or something like that! that's an OLD one

Actually there are multiple answers, its ambiguous where the man is going and who is with him  Although 1 is the answer given in Die Hard 3.
