the buggered HD was already in a working PC as a slave,but it stopped it from booting up  take out the buggered drive and boots up fine, i'll try and recover the tripods one day when i'm bored

you know that happened to me once, turned out it was jsut jumper settings, thats the last time i ask anyone to put a hdd in while im away having a piss
