I guess its distributors, but there's no reason for a staggered release... hell they don't even need to convert the framerate since projectors are all 24fps. It's just all to do with money and distribution.

Then again, sometimes we get shit early, but everyone should just get it at the same time. It would do more to prevent piracy then any other action the mpaa are taking
