when you recieve a message from someone it gives their IP addy in the log...
you can add that to the filter list in proto wall, sygate, or e-mule itself
however if they are dynamic it won't do much good

So, emules also download from banned clients. Else this feature would make no sense. Or why would you ban a client, which does not download from you?
