@Wargand, please read one of my earlier responses, i did not literally mean they should be put to death, it was metaphorical. I do not agree with the death penalty at all.

You either have kids or do not, and I see from this thread that the ppl who do have kids are thinking the same as me, and so they should. That instinct to protect should be so strong.

It is all down to risk management, life is not safe, but you try to do your best to ensure that your children are, at the very least, somewhat prepared, you teach them to swim, cross the road, hell even chew their food properly, there is nothing else you can do other than locking them in a padded room alone.

Rightfully so I say. You don't leave a baby home alone.

Havent read all the updates here, but only one thing for me is very much clear and it is following: You do not leave alone a child at home.
Now you can say hung them or not. I guess they are already paying their negligence. Shit can always happen we agree on that. But let shit happen to those that can defend themselves, not to innocent kids that can not just jump out the bed in case of fire or kick a thief in the nuts if getting in the house. We protect our kids, we do not leave them alone at home at such early age.
Now close this thread cos I am pissed.

I do not buy this idea that games are in some way dangerous.... these people are just a little short of a full stack....

A stable person wouldn't shoot himself like that eq1 kid when his account got banned..... I mean if it wasn't a game, would it be somthing else?... these parents... would it be say, a casino instead of WoW.

I mean was it that gigantic horror movie collectioon that Ted Bundy had witch drove him to kill??
