Hey guys, great to be back. I actually got quite excited wehn the time was close for me to re-emerge to the world.
Fuck me did I miss the net, more the ability to be able to get any info within seconds. I am so used to seeing or hearing something interesting and then just jumping online and checking it out.
Damn it is good to be back. 
Oh BTW, anyone I need to watch out for whilest I am catching up? Some upstart newb or something need slapping down?

Yeah dude great to see ya here again. Hope you did manage to slow down on all the nasty stuff 
I was able to quit all drugs(tobacco also) when i was 19(i never really did much compared to some though) but now that i've been plumbing for the last 5 years the booze is my demon. Had a scary incident about a month back from overdrinking at a co-workers wedding. Passed out at 11 pm(i was drinking triple whiskeys at the wedding/way too fast considering it was 11pm and only had a few before the wedding) and woke up about 4am vomiting violently for 12 hours. I seriously think i had alcohol poisoning. Never touched a drop for week after. Really was a wake up call. I've slowed down considerably since then but still have a couple a day. What can i say. After a day of work it hits the spot.

@ThEdEaDLiVe, If it is any help I found the physical side of not having these things was pretty easy to deal with, just need a positive attitude.
I just made myself rules that I could not break, every time I craved the nicotine I just said to myself in my head "NO" and focused on something else. It took a while but the physical stuff passed and now when the idea of having a ciggie pops in my head it pops back out almost as fast.

eh, im addicted to so muchcrap my life is just the eyeblinks between blackouts. I'm rather sure my constant diet of painkillers, sleeping pills and a few other pharmacuticals has done irrepairable damage to my already battered brain(i got shot in the head before, so messin with all the pills probably isnt helping me think like a normal person). My slow spiral into mental illness has finally become the full on belly flop splash into the sea of turbulent lucidity.
yes, i'm insane. and not in a Gallagher watermellon smashing way, but in a paranoidoatmealedwetnewspapergreydayrainclouded monotonous drudge, where the worst part of going to sleep is waking up.
err, what i meant to say was Im happy for Takyon, addictions are hard.
