I remember a long time ago FTI started up with a torrent section. Seemed then the site was destined to cease completely. It also had a reputation for screener releases, with groups like code9 (whatever happened to them - probably ended up in the torrent scene somwhere). I had to reregister quite recently as my original account was lost in the midsts.

The only other ed2k site I view regularly is DrunkenDonkey (formerly Pleasuredome101 or pd101). Covers most things but has a strong emphasis on software, and sub-forums are split accordingly.

well a while back they switched to some strange port, and they hadn't adjusted index.php to point to it, so you just got a non-working login screen.
I dropped a note and i think they changed it.
I don't know the status of their server, but i think its in transition which is why its on port 6666. I'm only guessing though.

ATM i can access fine though :)

Anyway, *merged*, other sites -> this thread.

its not really a critical error. Session table has got some junk in it so needs dumping and rebuilding. Its two lines of SQL at most I'd hazard a bet ;) One to drop the table and one to create the table again.

dead-donkey has had that error before when it was stressed

really? My usual reaction is "meh!", and then a "damn... now i'm going to have to go round all the emule sites and tell people not to suck out their gold fillings and invest in home defences". Especially since the actual admins don't

¿is FH really that good? i only check two forums daily. one is one in my native tongue (http://www.nosologore.com) and the other is this one, and i doubt it could get really any better than this...

guess the problem is when you check FH on a daily basis for non-genre releases, mainly the pre-2000 movies... thats really good stuff, therefore when FH is down I got nervous too hehe maybe its also like a sign that somethings changing or that feeling that "they caught us!" , I dont know... and who cares? who am I talking to right now? crap... nevermind :) bottom line... if one cares only about horror and genre releases the FH can just as well vanish forever, me I get anxious about it ;0

that was a different error from yesterday, I get a session sql problem. That one seems to suggest that mysql has crashed instead of the session table being full. That's the first sql statement phpbb does anyway.

In that case its a server reset that's needed. Half the problem seems to be no contact with the sysadmin, that's why these downtimes last so long.

I know T3 can be problematic at times, even pretty slow, but I've only been able to get on it once all weekend. Anyone know what's going on?
