Here's what's set as topic in their irc:
Sorry, forum is down. We are trying to contact our host and resolve the problem. In the meantime, feel free to discuss the insanities of the Swedish liberal party.

It was down and Zaerc had to rebuild the peer table or something.
Back up now though.

Yeah I was on there a bit ago and it just gave up the ghost. And now this - oops. There was a post at FTi re FH from triaxos saying that the problem with FH is being resolved once and for all. Which is nice.

Probably couldn't handle the amount of concurrent sessions.
My guess would be that the server can't deal with the stress.

The url is back, but i'm not sure of the integrity of the site:
XTRiCiAN wrote: | Dear users, as of today, the homepage of ShareReactor is back online at http://www.sharereactor.com together with the forums at http://forum.sharereactor.comThe main page is 100% recovered from the day it went offline, whereas the forums are from a backup made on the 29 December 2002. This means that we lost a bit more than a years work at the forums. If you registered at the forums during the period where we lost our data, you will not be able to recover your username and all your posts are lost. The team behind ShareReactor mostly consists of the old administrators, together with a few new people. During our offline period we also lost a few members for various reasons. Among the most noticeable is the discharge of Simon Moon. He sold the domain ShareReactor.com. Simon now has no connection to anything associated with ShareReactor what so ever anymore. Even though the page has new programmers now, it will continue in its old usual style and design. ShareReactor is still green, and the page will continue to set the standard for edonkey release sites as it started doing back in late 2001. We, the administrators, are all committed to bringing you, the best quality releases, checked for fakes, viruses and all nicely named – all for your pleasure. To uphold the quality, our administrators have checked and verified every single one of our old releases. Surprisingly 90% of our old work is still accessible to our users. This number really shows how powerful the ShareReactor effect was. Incase you forgot your password or username for the forums; please either use the password recovery option or the search feature. To recover the password, go to http://forum.sharereactor.com/profile.p ... ndpasswordand have your username and the email address you used to signup with ready at hand. If both fail you will have to create a new user account, but please have a little patience before doing so. So everyone spread the word. ShareReactor is back, and back to stay! Put it in your signatures, on your messenger, tell your friends and anyone else you can think of. We would like to welcome every single one of our old users, and potential new users to ShareReactor. We hope you will enjoy it like you did last time, and ask for your patience while we sort out any bugs and technical problems the page might encounter. |
http://www.sharereactor.com/The messy, horrid forums are even back http://forum.sharereactor.com/viewtopic ... ght=#15343However, I did some ip lookup so note this: WARNING: Possible anti-piracy entrapment I googled the hosting company: http://www.afterdawn.com/news/archive/6475.cfmQuote: | then you *should* not ever receive any emails from your ISP about people (fuckin' sneaky evil corporations like BayTSP and Hollywood Interactive) peeking in on YOUR OWN PRIVACY about what you may or may not be uploading or downloading. |
They are also in the ip filter for emule.
Anyway, looky at a trace route:
http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=Hollyw ... 8&oe=utf-8
Do not take this for anything other than suspicion, I have no info on the company other than its in a lot of blocklists (ads?)

He does, and he writes that he sold the SR domain (like Spud said).
