After doing a bit of googling myself, I'm gettting more and more curious/confused over Hollywood Interactive Inc...Some claim it being blocked in a range of blocklists to be just because of ads, other rumours claim it to be a undercompany of BayTSP. (I got that from other forums than mentioned in spuds post). It would be great if someone more knowledgeable than me could find out some more.
This post at bluetacks forums was a bit informative methinks:

So SR is back

Good news I think, I liked it.

But we now have to (re) herald in the days off popular links ALL being tagged Sharereactor on the end.

As they are keeping up with that practise on all main page files

How's that different to having 400 different tags these days?

The thing i always found hilarious about SR is how they claimed it wasn't for advertising. Oh no its to verify the quality. Even if it was appauling quality  Who were they kidding!

INDEED

My account is still active but I must have joined just after the last DB backup as I only got 2 posts so have (re)registered.
First link I clicked on the sharereactor main page downloaded in 1.5 hours (700MB avi) so I'm happy!

I think the major fact of all this is that SR was the best when it was about but it got shut down without notice and we have all coped perfectly well with out it.
So now it is back I think that it's just another site that you have the option to go to.

For me, not having access to sites like Horror Charnel and Fileheaven, SR being around is a bonus, as it gives me some what more of a choice to get downloads, but lets see what becomes of SR first :P

I'm looking for some HHAH users with good bandwidth to join Karagarga and bring the rare gialli and (Italian) horror / exploitation / crime films that have been released there to HHAH and the ed2k network.

Karagarga is a private ratio-based bittorrent tracker for non-mainstream, rare, obscure, cult and classic cinema, music and literature. Currently we have about 7,000 users and about 12,500 (9,200 movie) torrents.

For example, the following giallo films are available there, but haven't made to the ed2k network yet for non-Italians to enjoy them (dubbed or subbed):
- Javier Setó - Viaje al vacío AKA Shadow of Death (1969)
- Duccio Tessari - Morte risale a ieri sera, La AKA Death Occurred Last Night (1970)
- Harald Philipp - Blonde Köder für den Mörder AKA Death Knocks Twice (1970)
- Maurizio Lucidi - Vittima designata, La AKA Murder By Design (1971)
- Romolo Guerrieri - Controfigura, La AKA The Double (1971)
- Giuseppe Vari - Terza ipotesi su un caso di perfetta strategia criminale AKA Who Killed the Prosecutor and Why? (1972)
- Mario Siciliano - Eroticofollia AKA Evil Eye (1974)
- Luigi Zampa - Gente di rispetto AKA The Masters (1975)
- Massimo Pirri - L'immoralita (1978)
- Enzo Milioni - Sorella di Ursula, La AKA Ursula's Sister (1978)
...and probably a few others too.

If someone wants to join to bring the films to HHAH or even just to check how KG is, drop me a PM. I have plenty of invites to spare.

@Member13:

I might be interested, I used to love cross-spreading. A few too many releases on my plate right now though, so I hope this invite extends a little a longer. ;)

Oh and on topic:

Evolved-republic are throwing in the towel. Basil (the admin) says its to expensive, and its not worth running yet another index site. Sad to see em go (porn), best of luck basil!

Having said that, if anyone wants to spread any of my rips, please do :)

They're closed most of the time. Every now and then they open for new registrations, last time was in March I believe.

*merged*

fileheaven is closed :(

That's why its very important for people who click a horror movie over there to bring the thread over here. If someone mentions fh, you might want to remind them that its closed access and for them to paste over the thread/movie they are talking about :)
