This makes no sense anymore. What PC_A was asking about was http://www.punktorrents.com. They have been closed for ages, can't answer the question.

Getting this at FH:

Quote:
If your reading this you need to fix your host file. Remove any entry referring to fileheaven.org in your host file (/etc/hosts on nix, c:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts on windows).

SpudTheDestroyer

Only I don't have any entries referring to FH in my hosts file. :(

clear out your cache, restart your browser and force an update of your dns.

Right click on your connection and select repair.

See if that works out for you.... i only noticed the inadequate message myself since i had a host file entry on one of my pcs. Confused me for a minute.

I had the same as visc, no entries.

When i type the addy instead of using the bookmark i get to the log in page and it says username or password is wrong.

Think i'll wait a couple of days.

No problem here either, its been back for over a week and working fine apart from the mail server issue when replying to a thread when someone has the notify me when a reply is posted button checked.

The only reason i put up a message was because I was using a pc with a hosts file entry, all my other machines are/were working fine. I figured some people would still have that and not know how to fix it, and luckily i still had the ftp details for that server

Your not doing something stupid and using fileheaven.info are you? I don't think any member of staff at fh own that url, a member of the forum registered it and it will cause you no end of problems with cookies. The url is http://www.fileheaven.org , it says fileheaven.org a number of times on the page so you should use that url if your not. ;)

Reboot your machine with a default hosts file, and then type in:
http://www.fileheaven.org

Hit return. Then press CTR+F5 to force a refresh.

edit:

i take it your seeing this message:
http://72.15.144.56/
?

Yes, that's a problem at your end; you either need to update your dns or remove your host file entry... that's not the right ip anymore (its now 193.138.249.29).

If its rejecting your password then your probably entering the wrong password  I can have a check if you pm me ur details. Need your email you registered with, and your username.

Fh down for me again

Code:
The connection has timed out

The server at www.fileheaven.org is taking too long to respond

    *   The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
          moments.

    *   If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
          connection.

    *   If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the web.

Okay, so it's only my ip, that aren't allowed to the site, but eh why? I do believe my ratio on the site is 70-80% if not more, and I certainly didn't get any warnings about this and that. Does anyone have an e-mail to a moderator on Zaerc, that I can write to?

Maybe your ip is in the same range as some of MediaDefenders :outsider:

Why would it be that, I live in Denmark. Maybe MediaDefender has included it to blacklist me :-)
