Hopefully, some people will now have seen the good War of the Worlds since we released it, so i'm hoping this silliness will end... although that does mean more than 3 of us will have to vote :lol:

as annoying as that douche is, its is best film and it is indeed far suprior to that near unwatchable 1953 version, i know i keep stressing this but I'm flabbergastered by its support.

Its like its not been watched recently and there's some glossy eyed memories reflecting on a mismangle of other films into this competant packet, when it is anything but competant.

Short: yes, i'd vote for the midget over the "classic"/crappic "original", at least there were freakin tripods! :lol:

At least the Spielberg movie has more in common with the novel then the awful '53 version. I grew up with Jeff Wayne's musical version and his monstrous tripods, they scared the shit out of me as a teenager. Then when I watched the '53 Hollywood version of The War of the Worlds, I was bitterly disappointed. It was more like Space Invaders.
