5 computers joined to make 175 sq feet = 16 square meters metres / 5 = each PC is 3.25 metres square

That's a hugely impressive PC Abinthminded, out of interest what OS are you running?

I think he wrote his own OS just be be sure everything works fine. :mrgreen:

If you want to upload lots of movies at the same time I wouldn't worry about your CPU speed that much. Your CPU mainly does calculation and thanks to DMA and stuff hard drive access has less to do with CPU.

I would worry about the speed of my internet connection and my hard drive, because it must read the content of several files simultenously while uploading.

So if you don't even know these things I also doubt that you built your own computer.

You have to post images. Why won't you do that? There is only one real reason...

And by the way: Chernobyl is not in Russia. It is in the Ukraine.

its windows based.
think of it as a office setup, all the comps running off of the same server, all the comps interlinked so you can type on one and read it on the others.

i'm AMERICAN i dont speak freaky deaky dutch PC_Arcade i also dont use the metric system.
