I'm pretty certain anyway; there's a lot of history, missed history and downright falsehoods on ed2k about its past.

I remember there was a huge arguement, as petty as it was, that ShareReactor existed before Filenexus, when infact SR was a subsection on Masenka (which was filenexus).

I do recall the crypt list though which was kind of the 'original' compilation of horror for ed2k, i think it was crypt.sharereactor.com

still though... I was sure that the thread was on SR, as I registered on FN much later, than I did SR. As I remember it, "The Crypt" was defunct and not updated in ages, thus we started doing it in that thread instead.

Thanks for the tip, I signed up. I haven't browsed through their archives yet, but is it worth it to install and use torrent? I'm only using the mule now and have never felt the urge to reinstall torrent since I abandoned it.

Well, the quality of the rips from emule is infinately superior to the majority of rips found on most torrent sites, but... you will find a lot of stuff you cant find on emule on certain torrent sites (Troma collection latest releases have mostly come from 1 of them).

I only signed up to THC last night myself so cant comment on their selection as of yet although I found a Troma I didnt have on there & it was on freeleech .

If you do decide to install a torrent client, utorrent seems to be the preffered client on most sites & I've been using it without any problems.

I have seen that too and registered myself. Looked up some movies, but they were 4:3 and no seeders... first impression: bad.

I have to second what Bugsy said: the rips often suck quality-wise but you may find some rare/obscure stuff.
