eh, the copyright people are getting quite serious in some countries. read the stuff over at 'the register' http://www.theregister.co.uk its the riaa and the mpaa, so its music and movies, and soon they will try to do text,pdf stuff too. i now know personally 1 person (not me(yet)) to have actual legal action taken against them for sharing files. the person didnt use a firewall/peerguardian or anything security related, so that probably didnt help. they have the same isp as i do, so iam very interested in what happens.i think the isp has blocked all mule usage, i cant connect to anybody thru mule(even with using other ports), though alternative methods seem to be working fine. they did send letters about stopping kazza,morpheus, and bearshare, but i dont think ive ever used those. i dont listen to music much,. |
