It seems that England's THE DARK SIDE MAGAZINE has been
publishing plagiarized reviews and other materials. The following

This is completely inexcusable behavior. I recommend that everyone
on this board who has been published in one way or another take a look at
THE DARK SIDE's last few issues (hopefully on display at your local shop -- I
won't be giving any more of *my* money to this publication) and make sure
they too weren't copied.

Feel free to spread the word to other writers in fandom. This is a major
slap in the face to all of us.

March 27, 2006: Members of the British site, SEX GORE MUTANTS, voted IS IT UNCUT? as the best genre magazine of 2005. In the last three years THE DARK SIDE won this award easily with hundreds of votes, but, after last year's revelations of massive plagiarism, the magazine was able to only garner a pathetic three votes. SEX GORE MUTANTS headmaster, Alan Simpson, notes: "In the six years the SGM Awards have been running we have never seen such a swing in readers votes."
