Hey guys, Now with all the hype about the upcoming tarantino/rodriguez double feature Grindhouse ... I was wondering if you could put me in the right way to get into the mood of that kind of movie... I mean, I was never too much into exploitation (if thats what it is) , but I admit its mainly because I was ignorant about it, now I'm reading some stuff and really want to know what kind of feeling that movie will bring back to life... is it the b-horror movies from the old drive-ins? is it the low budget monster stuff, the exploitation movies full of "gore porn" ? the nudity/sex? what was the kinds of plots, or lack of plots they used ? hehe
Please folks, make me feel in a grindhouse theater and tell like a 5 or more movies list I could check (I'll look for rips, none will be avaiable for rent here in brazil I bet) for a good start
