Yep. I'm having gallbladder surgery tomorrow.

I just hope I don't wake up half-way through it. That could be unpleasant for me and for the doctors, if I get my hands on a scalpel.

dextromorphan hydrobromide, an ingredient in cough syrup, (usually in the DM version) can be used as a disassociative and block the effects of the anathesia.

so dont chug a bottle of cough syrup a couple hours before the operation unless you want to be traumatized for life.

They should, it's your's, they'd just throw the extra pieces away anyway. maybe charge you a gallbladder disposal fee at 150% markup.
then they sell it on ebay.
