The smoking ban is for pubs etc. You can't smoke there anymore, and that goes for coffeeshops as well. But: the law only forbids tobacco, so there are possibilities. Including ganja in the law would be admitting it is something legal. Which it ain't. Officially it is still forbidden stuff, but they let you use/buy it in small amounts. There's a Dutch word for it which I think doesn't exist in any other language: gedogen.

Thats gonna mess things up then. Most people who smoke weed smoke a lot of ciggies too. I cant see many people wanting to roll a pure one of dutch skunk every half hourish coz they need some nicotine but are too stoned to realise that weed hasnt got any

The Noord, I like that. Officially it is called Feijenoord, but since non-Dutchies can't pronounce the ij, they changed it into Feyenoord. Well, we're 3rd now in the competition with 3 points behind Ajax (so I'm glad Ajax and PSV both didn't score in that boring game of yesterday), and we're in the Cup final.
