He looks so... so serious! I wonder if the
musical percussion is a series of
arms-breaking-backward blended with the
cool stylings of buddhist chants... :P :P

If his music is as good as his films...

Then I'd seek sweet relief by pouring acid into my ears.

And then my eyes. So I wouldn't have to look at the po-faced talent hoover.

Yayyy! He's at The Brook in Southampton :beerchug:

Unfortunately 17 miles is wayyy to far for me to go and pay £30 to see this twat.

Still if he was in my local town i'd rush out and buy a ticket......not

I've just been to Amazon and listened to some samples from his new album, God alone knows why, and as i thought, it's truly shit.

some reviews from Amazon

Quote:
This is a surprise from Steven Seagal, who would have thought that he could produce such wonderful music.

Quote:
One of the best blues I've heard in a long time. It is very powerful and soft at the same time. It is much feeling in it.

Quote:
I loved this CD! I've only had it for a few days and have already about worn it out.

Well that's his relations out the way, now for a proper review.

Quote:
I would buy this just so I could show people the song titles & they could continue to laugh with me about how absolutely ridiculous this guy is as both a singer (or wannabe I should say) AND an actor. He's no good all around!

Quote:
this is the worst piece of .... ever recorded.the only reason
i'd buy it is to see seagals gurtle up close.this no talent
bumb is everything bad about music.the reviews that say this
is a great cd had to be paid for by seagal.please!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just about says it all.

Just out of curiosity, said local venue wouldn't be the Wedgewood rooms?
(dont worry, I dont wanna come over and hold your hand or anything...)

Back on track tho -
Me reckons the high ticket price is to cover his costs in the unlikely event that no one wants to go... 600 capacity... Id be curious to see exactly who would turn up...

Indeed, my local venue for live music is the wedge :D

Seen some good bands down there, saw the buzzcocks last year. excellent :beerchug:

I also noticed some of the venues are sold out, must be church halls or something :googley:

Quality - a fellow Wedge-er!!! :bliss:

To think, we could have been rubbing shoulders and never known!
Maybe not to the standard of Seagal, but we get some pretty good names in there - tho im usually in for the more metal stuff... Even so, the Buzzcocks is a coup and a half! (Whether that tops Strapping Young Lad in my books is another thing!)
Its always worth trying to do a regular check of whats goin on down there and the guildhall, we get some pretty good live music down our parts these days... oh and Ricky Gervais doing a show in Feb?!?
Speakin of which, Clutch are doin shows in April!

Anyhos, if you ever see a skinhead w/ beard and an "I Eat your skin" shirt, dustin it up - pop over and say Hi!
