Doing the usuall source check on my files to see whats spread well and found this amoungst them :

ed2k: The_Burning_(1981).Uncut.paul-scream22.german.deutsch.mp3  [70.03 Mb] [Stats]

From the looks of it it's the German audio to my Burning rip, but i didn't release it (no audio tracks on dvd).

So it looks like some-ones gone to the trouble of synching a seperate german audio source to the film, and tagging it with my name!

I've heard of file renaming, but tagging some one elses name on your release, that must be a first

Take it as a compliment mate, besides, having ya tag would prolly make it easier for germans to match it up to the correct file, probably.

Pathetic

Hmm... this looks lika a good place to mention again how much I hate dubbing. Especially german dubbing

Why can't they watch the movies with original language? They could make subs instead of dubs...

Paul, somebody renamed the normal link-that`s all, just the Releaser was removed from the link. Not beautifully however that cannot change.
Your name is included, coz so that all know which flick the audio fit ;)

I have no prob with it, pleased that my release is reaching wider audiences, it was just a shock to see it in my list!
But I figured it was only so that people knew what version film the audio went with!

Most Germans are too stupid to read, so dub is necessary. But I suspect that even dubbed german only a small percentage understands what it hears/sees.

I think u need an LOL at the end a your statement wargand, just to be safe, coz thats pretty harsh about germans!

But it is true that everything in germany is dubbed into their language, nothing is subtitled  so there has to be a reason!

wargand's maybe plausible 'LOL'

I am one and I lived almost 40 years with them. So I am allowed to judge without 'LOL'.

I've seen subs for some of my rips floating around which have my tag in too. Strange thing was IIRC, the subs were for a rip which I'd hardsubbed anyway!! :?

@djbenz: hardsubbs can be very hard to read sometimes. White font on white background.... I've had to get new subs for hardsubbed movies on at least 2 occasions that I remember.

eh,
i gave a bunch of audio tracks to people with wrong language rips. probably about 30. anything in german just sounds angry.even polka music.

german people are scary, and given half the chance they would horde and sweep across all of europe, err, sweeping and generally cleaning up stuff, maybe some light yardwork and mowing lawns.

so, in closing,
screw canada.

ah, that sounds to much like pauly shore.

from the few times ive visited it, canada seemed nice. i did see a documentary on thier prison system, and if i had to go to prison, i hope it would be there, or that girl prison i saw on late night cable.

still, german language seems to be one of the harshest sounding. sure, japanese has all the hard constanants, but some of those german words are like need to take stop twice for a breath on the same word.
i did see an add in the paper once for 'for sale, german shepard. speaks german. will eat anything! loves children.'

I saw a documentry about Canada, South Park the Movie it was called. That and Fargo

"Yes but was it all about"
"This is aboot freedom, this is aboot censorship"

"Screw Canada!"
"hey, screw you bud-dai"

And Fargo:
"Yar"

hehe, na my relatives live near Toronto, Canada is like a cleaner, nicer, more intelligent version of the states from what I saw. Just costs more :(

(I am planning to retire to either canada, so i can visit the states with not having the handicap of having to live there, or in North Africa)

j/king about the intelligent bit btw, not anything else though, tis a lot nicer and cleaner from the parts of each country I've seen :)

oh, canada, our home an native land,
true patriot love, at all your son's command.
(i think the canadian national anthem is something like this, im not sure as they dont let me in thier country after the last....'incident')
