Cogito, ergo sum...but sometimes I'm at a loss what to do.. Sometimes i feel like an leper...among yourselves... Several of you don`t like germans like me... yes i know... always the same old story...yes i know...but i was completely browned off... and also i knew it would happen...cabin c'est la vie, welcome to the club... i lived in the States, Belgium, Norway and in the United Arab Emirates... i found a few friends..of course,yes,first they shunned me... always and everywhere...always the same problem...i cannot deal with this... what is so bad to be a german? I am as good a man as you unless i am mistaken...or am i wrong?! allways this quip...dunno why and can`t understand this...maybe very likely i fail to understand myself..since an accident i have often probs to express myself,same with my broken english, ebonics also...like these days...i'm dreadfully sorry, am i intruding? of course i`m aresholded, but it hurts like hell. kindest regards, doc |

It probably has nothing to do with beeing german..it may be just your personality.I got plenty of German friends through the blackmetal community and don't judge them on the 2 world wars I do judge them on how they act though.As an american I recieve my fair share of Hatred from others but it really doesn't bother me...I just don't care what others think.I agree with Iconclast on the dubbing thing..that gets annoying and I may give shit about it but doesn't make me hate all germans.I judge more on the individual than anything else.Buck up Dr. Love....I am sure you are loved here

hehe nothing wrong with germans. i kid them sometimes. all the german folk ive met seem to be nice folk, and not the type them ggg movies had led me to believe everyone in that country was like. i doubt anybody here was around in ww2, but its possible. i doubt anybody has anything against the germans, i dont. i prefer to hate people on a per person basis. its stupid to dislike any culture just from a few bad apples. that would be small minded, rascist, and just plain ignorance. on the other hand, nobody likes the french. (hehe, pynhead aka gigi 'jerry lewis' le frog is ok enough.) |

I think the english like to bait the germans due to the fact you used to always beat us at football. I've worked in germany and the people I met were pretty cool. Nice country with great beer, but you can't find chicken in the restaurants - what's up with that? Anyway, it's all done in fun I'm sure. Peace, my european brother.

ive seen d0c, he's supposedly not a dwarf or a gnome, but he looks suspiciously like one of those guys in the pictures that come with frames, or the fake little pictures that come when you buy a wallet. the happy looking smileing bastards that you just want to hit with a crowbar until the shop clerk starts bitching about 'destroying store property' and 'where did that crowbar come from','stop hitting me''i dont know who d0c is' lies and bullshit. hehe, as for other cultures, i would imagine a lot of misunderstandings happen because the language here isnt sometypes normaly spoken one, a friendly little jab may seem like a outright insult. i try to stay on the friendlier side with everybody, if i offend someone they just have to tell me and more then likely i would stop. if i wanted to argue/fight/be called names/made fun of, i would just go visit one of my x-wives. most people here are friendly types, though a few just scare me. well, prayer scares me.* everyone else is ok enough,so i guess i'll mention PrayeR again because he is an odd motherfucker. at first i thought he may be retarded, then maybe that he was like 10 years old, now i;m debating wether he is some sort of sea monster or maybe an escaped circus ape on acid, with a (chainsaw hand?you know its not) shark for a hand, and it has hooks for flippers.and a prothetic leg(it swallowed a gimp) and rabies, if sharks get rabbies. all this while balancing on a unicycle and juggling screaming turkeys stuffed with dynamite. ah, but im sure he hears that all the time, from neighbours, his girlfriends, his victims, the guy who lives in his toothbrush, bodies in his crawlspace, his parole officer, the restraining orders, all the other Senators. *wargand scares me a little, because he knows too much, but only bitches about windows, and he is actually a rather advanced sort of robot.i'm not sure if he's from some sort of alternate future where windows rules the world, and a brave underground band of cyborg rebels fight the Macrosoft MegaMatrix in a post appocolyptic wasteland. dxakrator scares me because he reminds me of someone i know,i would run his ip with a 'whois', but i am just too lazy, and am a little afraid i may get my own ip block back. ohmygod scares me.....well, not really. he's crazy, but more of a 'friendly crazy' then a 'i;m going toeat your babies' crazy. , John_Doe scares me because of that little bike he was riding,somebodeez is a little frightening because in the 80's she was better known as debbie gibson,,xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. i'll just edit out these last 5 pages or so, and just say you all kind of scare/disgust me and if i passed you in the street i would cross to the other side and maybe throw rocks at you. all of you, and even me if that were possible. hehe, i hope that distracted everyone from whatever they were thinking about, and i am kidding. you all seem relativaly nice enough. |

I'd like to know that too, if someone is being racist, I will sort it out. 
I have moderated the board extensively and have never, ever seen anything of the sort outside the obvious joke, but then that's the same about every nation. Is it about dubbing, I think it's like raping a film, this is not limited to german dubbing, dubbing in any language is stupid with the exception of kids films and cartoons. Most people feel this way, hell I'm sure any German that loves films hates it too. The next biggest sin to dubbing a film is releasing a dub and not mentioning it in the filename, now that sucks ass and is bound to piss everyone off
Still, I'd like to know if this was a joke thread. |

@Iconoclast/dub movies: well, with the (oxford)english language the few problems have, but babbling american-english is very often very difficult to understand..i lived in bay City, later then in glendale/NY and Richmond/VA. i worked in a semiconductor in Sandston, with a lot english (those joined in former times u-boats) and irish guys(hey alco fuuuck ya, yee bluudy scumback  ). their language to understand was quite simple (ok, after a few black stuff i didn`t understand also this language any longer ). but who heard already times the west virginia slang -for example-point about which I talks
(btw, SPUD in irish-slang means potatoe )

now that is something to take up with your proctologist. 'i was married by a judge, i should of had a jury'. for somebody who is starting to look suspiciously like the Comic Book Guy from the simpsons, i get married a lot. these last 3 times were practice ones, the next 2 are the real thing. american english is a growing language, it changes words/usage/syntax rather quick, especially with slang. if your in doubt on what to say, just throw a brick at thier head. |
