Off for a few weeks

This Saturday I'll really really move into my new house. This means a lot of lifting heavy stuff and replacing furniture etc.

I have ordered ADSL around three weeks before this week, thinking it wouldn't take more than 4 weeks to deliver it (the site mentioned a delivery time of around 3 weeks). To my huge surprise, they told me on the telephomne that deliverytime is actually 6 weeks (!! 6 weeks !! To switch a button!!), so I'll be off of the internet from off Friday night on to the end of April.

Maybe I'll be back sooner, but I'm not counting on it. I'll check the forums from time to time at work (afterhours, before we get that discussion again

), but the Mule won't run for a little while. I'll use that time to catch up watching the many great movies I have in my collection. You can use the time to watch either Tenebrae, Carnage Road or Succubus. When I get back I promise even more movies to release!

Thanks guys. I'm now packing my stuff. I need loads of boxes to put my CDs and DVDs in. When I'm done packing them there's little left in my room

Hi all! The move went smoothly, all stuff is in my new house and I'm still busy finishing decorating. This Saturday I'm gonna visit a house which is full of furniture and other things from which I can choose what I want (among many chairs and tables etc is a large TV, yes!!).

Hopefully my internet connection will be established by the end of April, so I won't be needing to visit this forum at my work, like I'm doing now. It's amazing to see how many hours you spend on the internet when you have it at home and then to see how many hours less you spend on it when you don't have it at home anymore.

If all goes well, I'll see you guys on a regular basis within two weeks.

Damn, the TV in the house I mentioned above was already taken when I got there. Now I have to find a new one and buy it. I really hope my internet connection will be established by the end of this week, but since I hear a lot of bad stories about ISP's lately, I'm counting on a delay.

Because I have 10 days off now from work, I'll be able to read thos forum again when

1) my internet connection is set up in my new home, or
2) those 10 days off are over.

Of course Im hoping for option 1. See you later guys!

Aaargghh! I'm gonna have to endure even more! My ISP made a stupid mistake and I have to wait another two weeks! Damn, why can't those people just take notes of what you actually tell them? How hard is it?

OK, rant off. I'm at my gf's PC now, it won't be for another two weeks until I can reply here from my own. It's just bad luck: the same day I lost my wallet :matrix:

OK. I have called them a few more times and they keep fucking up. If they don't fix it within a week I'm gonna switch providers. It's unbelievable how companies like this treat customers. I mean: customers are the people who give you money, so it's better to be nice to them. Or am I totally stupid to think like that? :eatthis:

Yes, finally everything works!! At least it looks like that. From today on I'll be on these forums more frequently again, although having a brand new LCD TV and a DVDplayer to go with it, I'll be watching a lot of movies as well.

My time without the net taught me the following: it's not stupid to cram your HDD full of movies without watching them, because one day you'll be without the net. And then you have at least something to do
