and spud is one of the 10 richest kings of europe, owning his own football arena sized computer, with a team of spudgeniers who change the lightbulb relays. has that Majel Barret(orwhatever her name is) locked in a little chamber, and she has to speak in the startrek computer voice everytime he runs it, or she gets beaten with a hose.

i wouldnt mind one of those 220terahertz superduper computers i saw on tv. that would be sweet, running gordian knot AND icq at the same time. divx5.1 still taking 3 hours a pass....

And own 12 gold plated Maclaren F1's, and race them using AI driving robots with Radio controlled override satellite navigation systems so I can switch them into destruction derby mode.

Seven imigrant workers died in the making of the robots.

She was executed for funding profits to the vietcong

next time I'm in japan, I'll go in the labs and turn off their mainframe computer. Actually, I bet that would be entertaining.

*badly dubbed Japanese men enter room in white coats screaming and weilding meat cleavers*
:matrix:

/me hits Japanese scientist with a stick
No scientist, that's a bad scientist... that's my mainframe server!

'no japanese were harmed in the making of this movie'.

they just had a blender running from the same outlet. unplug that and the 8-track player and your jetting along at sub hz speeds. still, copying 700mb on to forty three thousand 5 and 1/2 floppies disks does take up a lot of time.

I had one of those! Is that a disc drive on the side? I had one for mine, along with the speech synthesizer/stereo speakers and a 64K memory expansion. IIRC mine came with a colour monitor, a desk and 12 mainly crappy games by Amsoft. It cost about ?400 in total, but having a built-in tape deck made loading games a lot easier than a C64 or Spectrum.

I see you've got a few games there, my favourites were Sabre Wulf, Starquake, Yie Ar Kung Fu and Ikari Warriors. The games could do great colours but the scrolling was awful! I had over 150 titles I think just before I sold it

Two I remember right off were one where you were in a maze thing killing robots, and the other polaris I think.

I guess it all depends on who wants it and how badly. Some people would want you to pay them to throw it away!

@MCMLXXXVIII, no its not the disk drive i still miss that one yet... its the mp1 tv adapter i got. the amisoft games stinks thats for sure but the "oh mummy" game is ok, u could load games better with amstrad thats for sure but u dont have many other good things like the sid chip, less expenisv diskdrives and diskettes etc....

@Bassline, you cant beat the real thing thats for sure.... emulators havent got the rigth feel if u know what i mean...

@karstmobile, maybe takes some pictures of it in action and show us here :)
