Has anyone got / can scan for me, the Dead Kennedys "Prisoner of Technology" Logo? If it helps jog memories, it's a picture of a silhouette man trapped behind a Bar code (like prison bars), and if I remember correctly it was somewhere on the give me convenience CD (or vinyl) Thanks in advance |

I know the logo you mean but I don't think I have it anywhere. I'm pretty sure it isn't on the Give Me Convenience CD, maybe on the vinyl. I only have Fresh Fruit and a bunch of singles on vinyl, and it isn't on any of these, sorry. |

I have the original vinyl that I bought years & years ago. The newspaper that came with it was called 'fuck facts'. I dont know the logo youre talking about & dont have time tonight to go on a vinyl hunt as theyre still packed away after moving house as I no longer have a record player ![]() ![]() |

Bedtime for democracy was the statue of liberty on the cover & no it definately didnt come with that as I have that one too. The Give me convenience or give me death album cover has an orange fire border & the central picture is dead people (maybe cambodia) & a face that I never recognised over the top in barbed wire. It also came with a floppy disk in the UK release with 2 tracks, 1 of which was buzzbombs over pasadena. |

Sorry PCA, its not on either of these albums or in either of the bundled rags. I still cant picture the image youre talking about & I coulda sworn I had all the albums & singles at one time. The only one not been checked so far is plastic surgery disasters which I did have on CD until I had my collection robbed so cant check that for you ![]() |

I've just checked the Peace compilation which included the track "Kinky Sex Makes The World Go Round" as I thought it was on there, I was wrong. I think my mate still has the booklet from Plastic Surgery Disasters though not the LP anymore, I'll ask him next time I see him. It depends what you want the logo for, Blackpool punks Erase Today nicked the idea for their 12" "The Economic Prison" which I have, so if you want it for political purposes then this would be the next best thing. |

This isn't a bad scan, the image on the actual 12" is this poor quality ![]() |

just checked and found it! BUT i just tried my scanner and i keep getting 'hardware error' - gotta admit i haven't used it for a coupla years 'till now (it's way old n not even usb!) ![]() it is on the 2nd page of the booklet from Plastic Surgery Disasters. although the booklet is the full size of the LP the actual pic is only about 1" wide & 3/4" high. the barcode is different form the one above and reads 79100 02285. |
