Has anyone noticed things getting slower and slower lately?

I don't mean downloads coming in slower or anything like that, I mean something else:
It seems to me that lots of people have left. Here or in eMule in general. Also, it seems like people are not downloading so much anymore. Is it just me or do you guys have similar feelings?

I get less results, less messages, my latest release is on zero requests after half a week (which has never happened before, but maybe I was just lucky in the past). What is it?

Is it the server trouble, maybe? To me, that seem the most plausible explanation.

Btw: does anyone know when, or if, servers are gonna be up again? And how?

Since the "server trouble· i've been only connected to kad, been downloading simpsons and fawlty towers and speed it`s still the same (good).
downloaded "Botched" from verycd and it was as fast as usual.
hope you're not suffering from some kind of isp throttling.

Actually I don't come here for downloads anymore. After years of 24/7 downloads I more or less have everything I wanted. Ok, absolutely I still dl plenty, but compared to my first two or three edonkey years it is almost nothing. And most new stuff I get via bittorrent.

@ spud: OK, nice, so I'm not the only one who thought that :)

@ wargand: of course I understand that older members will have downloaded pretty much everything they want, but I still wonder where other people went. Besides, In wasn't talking about downloads only, I was also talking about visiting these boards, there are some members that I actually miss lately, like Lux (OK he came back like yesterday or something), Tak and Koffkongen.

I'm in here everyday. Often 3-4 times each day.

I haven't really noticed any changes... things still flow like they always have... maybe an occasional bump or hole... and nobody I know in "real" life knows what the heck an emule is so... yeah, normal...

It seems my uploading thing has to do with my DVD and not with eMule. Leaves other things the same, though. Maybe it's just my recent rising addiction to the mule and these forums
