I must have been in the dark, but this is a 6 issue mini-series comic being made into a pretty bad ass looking movie.

The thing that has me most drawn to this move is not just the fact that is is based on a pretty brutal comic book, it's that it is directed by "Timur Bekmambetov" who is a fantastically visual director who directed Night Watch, Day Watch, and soon to be Twilight Watch.

PS- Once you get past the initial "It looks like a Matrix rip off" and or, read the comic, you'll see that it is very different under the surface.

After checking out the trailer, I have to say I agree with this guy:
