My girlfriend sleeps very noisy; she talks and shouts and moves a lot when we're trying to sleep. i seriously lack sleep now that we've moved out together, I become tired all day long, and when I try to sleep again she wakes me up many times at night. It's horror!

Anyone else knows this? What can I do? It's not pleasant at all sleeping on the couch 4 times a week. If anyone had this problem Im eager to hear how you solved it.

Make her a strong cocktail before she goes to bed (I suggest "Knockout").
If you do this you have a good chance of not being bothered at night.

Another option: buy a second bed and sleep in separate beds.

Third option: tell her about it and make her understand your point.

PS: I prefer the cocktail. :beerchug:

Ive never really ran into that problem but I would also suggest talking to her about it. Also look online for sleep aids and the such. I dont know about the cocktail thing cause Im not a good drink mixer but that might work as well.

I always sleep alone, my gf snores like a hog, moves like one too

sleeping alone doesn't mean one has a bad relationship, au contraire, its been proven that couples who sleep alone (each in their own room) live way longer, coz a good night sleep is the basis for a healty daylife.

we only share the same bed when we want to fuck (we almost never fuck in bed, but you get the point) or when we're really drunk & thus sleep anyway

I know a lot of couples that don't share the same bed. I thought they didn't have a good relationship, and after antro's remark it will not change because when you live longer, you don't necessarily have a good relationship :P

Seriously: sleeping apart can be the solution. I really know several couples who do that and are fine with it.

I myself sleep like a baby: you can fire a cannon next to me and I will not hear it. My father slept through an allied air raid in World War II, I think I inherited it from him.

I asked her if she could sleep on the couch from time to time. It was all right with her.

It's amazing what lack of sleep does to you...

In ancient times, shamans used sleep depravity to meditate and come in contact with the gods.

It messes you up indeed.

I wasn't kidding about it, though. I know it sounds funny, however

Usually, moving or talking during sleep means that you are repressing a killing urge. You should probably just let her keep doing her thing...

LOL my wife snoores like a cunt, used to keep me up all night but I kind of adjusted to it. Mind you lack of sleep is not an issue for me, 4 hours a night is great for me.

Mind you, I am one to talk. I recently started sleep walking again, a couple of nights ago I rolled a doobie up in my sleep, well attempted too, and put it in my wifes mouth LOL I also got woke up by my neighbour about 3 weeks back, I was talking to my dog in my backgarden at 3 am, totally naked.

Sleeping seperately is not an option for me, but I also know several couples that do this and they are all perfectly happy, they only sleep together when they wanna shag. One couple I know have been like this since they got married, 23 years ago, and they have 5 kids and a great life together.

It does seem a little weird, but apparently it can work.

Maybe you could get her some natural herbal sleep aids, my bro uses them to help him sleep through his wifes sleep talking. Oh and I aint on about weed either LOL

Sleep deprivation sounds funny, but it really does get to you real quick.

Ok, I was awakened tonight with angry shouting, which is frequent in this bed. But then came, and full of contempt, : "don't wake me up, idiot!"

Seriously, I'm scared!
