Well, something new and horrible has been introduced on some studios' prints. Sort of a giant picture-marring version of Cap Code dots: Very large reddish brown spots that flash in the middle of the picture, usually placed in a light area. They flash in various patterns throughout a given reel while other reels of the same film may have none at all.

A Kodak spokesman who helped devise the original Cap Code says this is not the work of his company but theorizes that it may be intended to be more visible on the murky compressed copies that get posted to the Internet where the original, very subtle Cap Code may be difficult to discern."

If he thinks it's a compo then it'll get outa hand!!!

He's already posting threats to me, becuase I don't follow is tastes in catalogueing appz :|

Maybe one day, in a year or 2, I'll have the same post number as PrayeR. If the board lasts long enough!!!

PrayeR also causes people to post more then they do!

So it's a knock on effect really!

I bet the majority of mine/ PCA's posts are responses etc to PrayeR.

I wonder (in total) how many posts PrayeR has attributed to.

i came with the board, kind of as a feature. my post would be around 3000, but i deleted quite a few. in one button clicking accident, i got rid of 267 of my posts from the 'monkey's cap-crap-a-thon riptastic avi encoding jubilee 2002'. add in all my alternative screennames that i forgot the passwords too, and it would be about fourteen thousand posts. i dont use the internet much, this is about the only site i visit that hasnt banned me for life. yet.

ive also seen where the dvd-screener are getting tracking codes put in, to see who originated the rip. what's worse, is these tracking 'features' are going to be standard even mandatory, in EVERY dvd produced thanks to the 'video flag' laws in usa. now the cocksucker's can trace the dvd to the store it was sold at, or the video store it was rented from. i really hope some smart dude figures out how to disable these things.
ive also read laws have been changed in the usa to change capturing movies at the theatre, previously a misdemeanor, into a felony crime with mandatory jailtime and an insanely high fines.
