It's part of your client, it renames people without a nick (or with default nicks) to something stupid, It's to help you differenciate between the 1000's of users with the same (default) nick. And yes, it's stupid |

No, they're just people who haven't changed their nick
there's no need to, they're NOT (neccessarily) leeches if you don't like the [funny nick] thing, use a different client that doesn't have the "feature" the "problem" is at your end NOT theirs |

To be honest, it's a sign of a total newbie!!! They just download emule and run it as is (out the box) so to speak!!! I know people just like it who I go round to help set them up and there is is emule-project.net as they're user name !!!! Some people wouldn't know what to do with a preferences tab even if it was flashing and filling up there screen!!! |
