Who wants a friend slot from me?

I upgraded my mldonkey and discovered that it now has real friend slots. Currently I emulate some sort of friend slots with my firewall script. Of course the real thing is better, since for a friend a real upload slot it reserved. So who wants one? Unfortunately there is a slight drawback. I have to put you in my friends list. And, as some of you already experienced, this means you are constantly pestered by my client for your shared list. Sorry about this, there are very few good things you get for free. My price is a cluttered log file or a shared list

True, just discovered this feature and wanted to test whether it works. So I added some of the regulars here.

One thing: don't you think that asking who wants a friend slot is missing the point? I guess everyone would rather have it than not.

Normally yes. But before I knew that mldonkey has this "re-ask" bug, I was questioned why I was constantly spamming for shared list. Not too long ago there was another thread about the same issue here. So I suppose some might be disturbed by contantly repeating entries in their log. I am just careful, don't want to be banned :-)

Maybe I will do this, too. But first I have to see how the friend stuff really works in mldonkey. It is new and might have some problems.
