Yup, lots of people dislike the English tourists, because they are so loud and when they get drunk and/or stoned, they mess things up badly.

I don't live in the centre of the city, so I don't see them a lot. I tend to not care so much about them, but I can imagine that if you do live in the centre of the city, it can become annoying, shouting people who are pissing in your garden...

I was speaking about tourists in general, but the British try hard to make themselves noticeable. Of course: a lot of them fall asleep in coffeeshops, but several others do the stuff I described above.

I have never heard of a Brit getting killed by drugs however, and a French girl and a Danish guy were. So, heads up, blokes! You're good at surviving Amsterdam!
