OMG, i just loved this movie! Yes, the new one. Doesn't matter that Stallone is a little bit grandpa - fuck that! It was so good that i'm gonna watch it again right now! Everything like in old good times - just with much more brutality and bloody scenes. You know, we could put this even into horror section - so brutal in some parts it is. GUTS, MEAT, BODYPARTS, BLOOOOOOD! Yeah*!

I heard he has this sweet walking frame with a missile launcher concealed within it?

Have to agree mate...Stallone hardly spoke which get the thumbs up and the gore/splatter is sensational.

Good call mate :beerchug:

I am not a huge fan of the first three. I will watch this and concentrate on the gore.

The massive upside is the fact he does not speak much, so that is indeed a bonus flameproof.

To be honest TaK whatever film Stalloneis in the mute button gets well used!

The gore is something to behold...it's almost on Braindead scale.

Yeah, his voice does become an irritant after a while.

As for the Braindead comparison, I hope you are correct. That alone may entertain me.

Obviously missing the puss in the custard bit as Stallone would have trouble saying custard let alone eating it.

LOL TBH I would find it hard to swallow if that were in the film. How many people die by lawnmower?

Lol i think every word he mumbles sounds like that....can you imagine him as a public speaker? it would sound like a stroke victim trying to sing Iron Maiden.

Its almost as if his face has caved in..from the inside!!

Image like mother like fuck!

Rambo 1 is excellent, 2 is worse, 3 is terrible, 4 is fantastic for a completely different reason to the first. The first one is just a good film, the fourth one is violence.

I posted this in the watched thread:

Rambo IV: Absolutely... truly breathtaking amounts of violence packed in to this movie. There's no pretension, there's no silly sidetracks, there's just some of the most of the top and brutal hyper-violence in cinema history. Stallone knew exactly what he was doing, quite clearly.

Possibly the ultimate catharsism for angst in movie form. Or that all important film to test out your 1080p projector and x.y Surround Sound system on :wacky:

One thing was clear, if you walked into that one expecting anything but hyper-violence then you really aren't that bright.

I couldn't agree more, the Rambo IV is easily the most violent film I've ever seen  I can't wait for a 1080p rip :)

It was STUNNINGLY violent

Sly only talks like that cause he got fucked up as a babay.

People say it was STUNNIGLY VIOLENT, well it was gory and stuff, but I dunno, maybe not the goriest ting eva!!!11111one!!! I dunno, I heard Braindead was real gory, like real real, but if it's as gory as rambo then thats less gory than I expected. ding?

Things that have more blood doesn't necessarily mean its 'gorier' imo, when the violence and blood is routed in fantasy, say like Braindead its just not the same as a headshot from a high powered sniper rifle.

The violence in this were closer to reality than depiction in a horror flick. Braindead is just fantasy driven blood and guts, a guy with a lawnmower churning out guts, whilst rambo is violence, a guy with a heavy duty mounted machine gun killing scores upon scores of soldiers, in a splatter of guts with each shot.

Rambo is stunningly violent.
