So I finally got some cable today after... about 5 years of not caring enough to get it. I found this neat little channel that offered Free On-Demand films. Fearnet.
Sounded like a website, so I looked it up. Sure enough it has a website too. Fearnet.com

I just watched some random cheesy movie on it called "Unrest". Meh. But, afterwords, I started browsing what movies were available. They have Last house on the Left, American Physco 2, The Decent and a couple other decent movies. Free decent movies. On demand.
Apperently, they change the movies out every few days for a non-stop library of horror. I'm very excited to have this at my disposal.

Does anyone else use this channel? Or even heard of it? Where I havent had cable in so long, I didnt even know it existed.

Looking through the back-log on the website, they have recently had some other good movies up that I missed in the last month. Brain Dead, Exorcist, Return of the Living Dead 2, The Others (I call it horror, totally made me jump once or twice when I saw it), and tons more.

I suppose I am just saying.... if you havent looked into it, do so? Cant beat on demand horror flicks for nothing! :moon:

"The Video You Are Trying To Watch Can Not Be Viewed In Your Current Country Or Location"

Sums up the site for me ;)

Canada?
Eh, I just checked to see if it was a website. It looks to be horrible out-dated with "new posts" being anywhere from 2 weeks - 2 months old.

I was more stoked about the channel itself ^_^

Silly Spain!
Forgive my ignorance, but is there some crazy-ass rule about watching horror movies in Spain?
En Fuego and what not.

Can't you go through a proxy server hosted outside Spain first to get to the site?
Something like anonymouse?

Many times the content providers don't have the right to distribute films in certain countries. A proxy should do the trick, though.

Speaking of VOD...I just heard through the grape vine about a new site launching next month called downloadhorror.com that's supposedly going to be the biggest online VOD site for horror films. Anyone know anything about it? There's not too much info out there on it

why bother? I have all the movies they show anyway and the streaming quality is poor :(

Services like this are 5+ years too late

LOL I remember a few years back when I got super sweet ultra fast 512k broadband, LMFAO, watching streaming movies. I somehow doubt the quality has improved along with the speeds.

No idea, I havent tried streaming them from the site.
I was talking more about the on-demand channel in my cable network. It's very accesable and so far this week has given me something new or obscure to watch every night as I lay down to go to bed.

I have Fearnet. Not that great, mostly 2nd rate horror flicks, 1 or 2 commercials in 'em unlike the other ondemand channels, and they don't update that often. Splatterday on cinemax is a better. Or just wait until october and most ondemand channels have a ton of horror.
