I was in the hospital for a week with pneumonia back in 1988. Sucked. All they would give me to eat for awhile was toast and applesauce. Funny, I still don't care much for applesauce after that. :P

That's bad news for everyone who likes horror or not. Whilst not everyone loves his writing style, he's probably the most influential "super writer" of modern times.

Shawshank redemption, stand by me, etc. were all great, and of course Carrie and the Shining are great.

Yes..I hope he get well soon (probably will)...
But on the other hand, he's usually very productive when he's in the hospital. So maybe we could expect a new Stephen King movie in the near future? (Even though Dreamcatcher sucked).

By the sounds of 'usually', does your job involve waiting outside the hostpital in your car and running him over? :mrgreen:

Let's hope that he puts out some more good books which turn into similarly good movies.
