Just realised that I watch zero TV any more, well I do but nothing I have not seen online. I watch very few TV series, and all those I now download and watch, usually, before they would be shown here in the UK anyways.

Couple this with the fact that Sky/ITV/BBC/Five/Ch4 do not have the bollocks to show the films I like, I came to the conclusion I only have the whole Digi TV package for other ppl to watch LOL

not watched tv in about 2 years myself. Only when I have female visitors, as they bug me to turn it on. Women seams to always know the entire program catalogue by heart...

Women:
'Ahh, we absolutley have got to watch <insert current most popular reality-tv show>'
Me:
'Sure, as long as we're naked'

Brrrrrrrrrrr...............what kinda weirdos are y' all ?

I do still watch TV , almost everyday.....some days hours, some barely half an hour.....
You guys never rent movies ? You down ALL stuff ?
I am to believe you are all intellectual and enlightened BOOK readers ? Yeah Right

This is interestling ; There really are a lot of people who don't watch tv anymore.....claiming it's for " zombies" ......

But then surfing for hours , chatting irrelevancy till you drop ,or playing games with laughable A.I isn't ?

Look - don't want to be to quick to judge , I don't know how many hours your average day of work/study is...

And when Tv content becomes fully interactive (like : press green button to kill off character X ,or red for character Y - press z to continue with both etc) I'll love it even more.....

eh, i dont watch tv. i can barely read. i like the books on tape(well mp3s), i listen to them often.
i think the last time i watched tv with any regularity was right before they canceled mst3k. i think the final episode was about when i quit. and about that time i started getting star trek episodes off the internet from some german dude named heinrik. eh, i never watched much tv as a kid, we didnt have one.

hehe, if your paying attention to recent legal nastiness going on in europe, the first wave of USA type lawsuits against downloading stuff will start in full force next month. it's not just going to be music, it's tv shows too. BEWARE

I haven't had a tv for about 4 years. I don't have time to watch the downloaded stuff, let alone tv.

I guess most of us are spoiled now. Just can't bare to watch tv. Its the whole 'watch what you want to watch, when you want to watch it' that 'TV' will never be able to provide. The thing that got me the most was the fact that I was paying for the ability to watch commercials.

If WWIII started, I'd probably hear about it here first. :)

I read alot, have a few hundred books, everything from sci-fi to horror, also Tolkien and Shakespeare. Got a few chemistry books, bung in a few phiysics and quantum physics books, plus I gotta read my Mensa mag that comes each month.

I hate reading books on the PC, just kills my eyes, but as for TV, I gotta watch on my PC, thats the only way I get what I want when I want, and no shitty ads either.

Just gotta add that the last few times I went to the video rental shop, I left with nothing cos I had seen the "latest" releases months earlier LOL

Shit, I just buffed up on my C++ by reading Sams teach yourself C++ in 24 days!

To be honest I spend most time reading manuals or programming books. Shame really would love to read more fiction but job/main interests dictates that it by computer geek stuff!!

I watch ~30 mins to 1 hour of TV a day, I haven't rented a video or DVD for ~10 years. However I buy a HUGE amount of DVD's nowadays as I virtually NEVER go to the cinema (twice in 3 years)

I read though, I always have at least one book on the go, usually Horror, Sci/fi or (more recently) non-genre fiction

I'm not interested in interactive TV (although I have digital TV) nor do I play games online.

Does that make me a weirdo??
