Post subject: | Community Push Feature (Help files Spread) |
Repost: Some of you might have noticed this feature in emule, basically it works by giving people with the specified tag in their name a higher position in their upload queue, thus providing the files to the horrormaniacs quicker and to people who are likely to keep em shared ie. My nick is: HHAH Spud the Destroyer and under community push i have entered: hhah Currently the tag we have all entered is hhah (and added it to our names also). The option is not available in every emule version, but is present in most mods, (currently using flux 6). It will be in preferences. Spud.dupS |

I use Fusion R6: http://fusion.insomnia-online.net/ It's a decent mod, with some neat features. Try a fresh install and see what you think. ![]() |

Well it don't work for me - or should I say YOU ; I have enter HHAH in the community push field, I have tagged Johndoe and dOc as friends , I put the file they want (forbidden world ) on release YET still some git is squeezing them out! I even put the file that cheater is downloading (Mystics in bali) on Very low priority! Ok,the guy is nearly finished anyway, but still, I'd like to know how this could be ? |

bare in mind that person might be sharing extremely hard so don't be harsh on him --> view details and see how much he's uploaded and his rating first ![]() the community function works at giving a 4x boost, however, leechers get 0 x4 = 0 rating ![]() |

No,it's not that spud. - I have actually two mules installed - one ,the fusion r6 ,for UPLOAD only(I never download anything while in/running it,sharing only the files I ripped myself). It has it's own server and client.met files; In layman terms,in this config I don't (or at least shouldn't)owe anyone dick(pardon my dutch) . I'm tellin ya ,da lad cheated some 'ay. Still ,he completed the download yesterday(mystics in bali),so he shouldn't be a bother anymore......And the world should have a second source for it ! ![]() (mind you i said should ; a quick search came up with nothing) |

No, the upload may not have been to you, that's trading, total emule upload to all people is recorded in a credit file. If you upload to lots of people (more than you download say), you get a higher rating on all. It's to encourage sharing i assume. Therefore, this person may have been uploading at a high speed to someone else and this resulted in a good credit file, and therefore decent queue positions. I'm only saying don't jump to conclusions ![]() I accidently lost my emule installation and lost my credits. I've had to start over and it seems that my downloads are taking longer to start ![]() |

Hello, here is my first post in your forums. Congratulations for your incredible work about your website. I use Emule for about one week and the only movies I'm sharing are horror movies, so I had the Idea to add hhah community in my preferences. I 've some great features to (power) share with you. ![]() PS: sorry for my bad English language I do what I can ![]() |

Go to 'Shared Files' tab, select all files, right mouse button, 'Copy ED2K links to clipboard (HTML)', return to browser and paste into post. That's all. ![]() |
