I have this nagging feeling that a lot of you have had it with ed2k....
Dc++,Irc and since a year now Bittorent.....

I'm pretty sure I've recognised a few of you over at "CrazyM's" ...

Will this site be here 12 months from now ?
Or is the end nigh ?

It's been mumbled & whispered on other ed2k sites too...Ed2k has peaked.......

Nah, BT is great for stuff ya want in a rush, if it is available, and is great for new TV eps. I still use mule the most due to the quality and community side of things.

I'm everywhere on the net. Bittorent, irc, eMule, DC++, it all depends on what i'm going for.

But no, this site will never die unless spud decides to kill it.

Managed to keep the cost down to a minimum for hosting this site and use emule all the time.

Well recently my brother in his infinite wisdom, wants to use emule at the same time which is killing my connection. Apart from that i only really use emule, and use BT to get stuff like simpsons.

I hate DC. I mean, i REALLY hate DC.
I don't like IRC either. Ok, I hate it too.
They are too primitive.

And I love eMule.

As for BT, it's good for all the new stuff, but it doesn't really give you eMule's possibilities, does it? Sometimes I even get stuff from eM which is avalable on BT, I'm a patient man.

Not switching (ATM), I had nothing but problems with BT, never used it since.

i've used IRC but a lot less lately as i feel a lot of the #'s are drying up a bit, i'm using BT occasionally like Takyon also for the new tv eps (but some i still get on ed2k) and the odd new album.....DC used a few years ago but found it pretty naff unless you had a T3 line...all those lovely swedish hubs you can't get into :matrix:

i still feel emule is the place to be for things on the whole so i'll be sticking with it for some time to come :beerchug:

Mule all the way. Love it.
Never going to desert it... and if I someday will, for whatever reason, it definetely wont be because of BT. Never used it and probably never will. I get all I need from mule or somewhere else.

I use Bt once in a while but I will pretty much always use mule unless something drastic happens. The problem with BT it seems to me is that it just doesn't have as many people to grab from, also it seems when I torrent has run its course it's dead as a bishops ballsack.Maybe when it's popularity increases it will prove better results but for now I realise if I want something from BT then it had better have been released in the last month or less or I am shit out of luck. One thing I have noticed though, found alot of rare films with that BT

If something I want to see comes up on BT and there are plenty of peers I'm on it! But it could never replace eMule for the sheer range of movies.

However, it is nice to start a movie off just before bedtime and have it finished when I wake up. 8)

unfortunately very true, with no community to back it up initially (although with the rise of BT, I hope this situation will improve), no one can give them feedback on their rips, so i guess they don't learn as they might if it was via emule :(

With emule, people claw through forums for rips and can at least seek advice on how to get the best quality, get the correct AR, deinterlace, etc.

Also, nodoby seems to care about the file sizes. There's a real plague of oversized rips. I guess you don't need any guidelines to see that your rip has 850mb.
