in the last weeks i have put my emule on again, months since last time.... i still use tbh v7... but much of the old servers i used before is gone and the bigggest i see is razor2 and all the servers aint maxed out, there is no problem to join. in the old days u could barley get in to some of them top servers like razor,s.e.d.g.,probeprinz,emule server no2 etc.... it looks like ppl are leaving the emule/edonkey p2p, if not what the hell is happeing???

I believe that upgrades to the server software has meant they can increase the number of connected users.

Nah, they aint left. I am pretty sure the server software has just got better. Wasn't that long ago that Razorback and the other big serevers used to have a max of around 100 to 150 thousand users, now they can take many more. Looking at Razor ATM it has about 375000 users connected, and room for another 75000.

I am sure I read somewhere on my travels taht it was to do was the amount of traffic generated by clients has been reduced, or sumink like that. I am sure someone here can verify/correct me.

Delete the Known.met file.

Replace the server.met with this.

Reboot and start emule again.
