Well the Soab's are actually develloping it......optical camouflage....stealth suit for lay men......

It has many future practical uses , in the shape of a surgeon's and/or pilots help , the CNN article reports....

OHGOD's response : OHHH !! COME ON !!!! HOW F*CKIN' GULLIBLE CAN YOU GET ?

This kind of thing is designed for one purpose only and that is ASSASSINATIONS and possible guerilla warfare....

Not even espionage, buildings can easily be protected with the right gear...

surgeons and pilots my ass.......that 'll be done by computers and robots 50 years from now....

What's next eh with the upcoming nano revolution ?
Impact absorbing suit ? Electron absorbtion/emmission spiderman-like stick to everything suits ?
Hell not invent a metamorph suit - hell the ladies will love that

I'm sorry .......I'm not the most optimistic type regarding the future....Especially if the future generations resemble us....
Don't mind me...

It's all moving far too quick for my liking. I haven't even come to terms with the self-service checkouts in my local Tesco's yet! :o

Still, it's bloody clever though. Apparently there's a guy wearing a see-through jacket on that CNN link.........be buggered if i can see him! 8)

And as for aircraft with see through floors, fuck that for a game of soldiers! :-o

hehe, terchnical knowledge advancing so rapidly, but
our DNA is the same DNA that we had in the jungle 50,000 years ago, doesn?t look good for humanity.

'war: creating man's best to do man's worst'

ive seen some things along those lines while back on a documentary. i believe they used jillions of tiny little televisiontube like spun glass, i think it was called. this was a couple years ago, so i guess the idea to do this, or at least the basics of getting it done to actually work, has been around for quite a while. i vaguely remember hearing these dealies get hot as hell, or at least at the time i heard about them they did so they werent much use. they were supposed to use them for military vehicles and buildings, and working on a practical/usable one for a person to wear.

haha, i gave up caring about these types of inventions, i just 'went numb' i guess, when i heard about the country(ies) that had a few nuclear weapons that werent meant to attack any another country. no, these bad boys were meant to explode in thier own country, as a last resort, a dead man's hand with enough megatons and explosive power to actually destroy enough of the planet's mass to make the entire planet unihabitable, maybe knock earth out of orbit. no, im not joking, and relatively sure these types of weapons do actually exist, anybody else hear of these types of weapons?

hehe,
minding your own business, maybe taking a shower or pissing, kicking the cat, and flash-fried you dead, maybe lleaving those creepy radiation burns that looksort of like shodaws. luckily before you hear the shockwave/explosion ionized air/no electric apliances. man, that would not be good, nor do the possibilieties that this sort of thing can happen again, or hell, as a surprise. i would think a rational mind would either become numb to it, or just freakout and snap.
the ones i mean make that nagasaki/hiroshima look like firecracker. i;m trying to remember the name of the russian one i heard of. the device itself is supposed to be about the size of a football/soccor stadium. ive probably watched to many scifi/war fictional films, so it may have blurred together. i'm relatively sure the russian one was 220megatons(?) 2,220 megatons(?), and i am sure the usa has a version, as the world has probably got enought weapons of mass destrustion to blow up the whole planet 4 times over. man, 30,0000 years ago, when we were happily swingin thru trees, only fear of getting eaten by a lion or something, old age or disease. now we live in a world were there is the power to blow the whole fucking planet up, and decided by a relatively few people, or worse, automated response thru computers.

man, and these are just the know weapons, doing in depth research into some the stuff countries use to kill people, its insane.
first time i was on a crewserved weapon, a mortar. i was rather surprised at some of the high tech rounds shot out, im sure they are oldies, but like red phosophourus/whooly petes/steelrain/ even HE rounds, they just fuck people up severe, that's what they were made for. i done mostly military operations in urban enviroments, so motars werent my prime consern of getting my ass kicked off the planet, but just there usually underlooked by most people, and the friggin effeciancy they can cause damage on groups of people is kindof sick/sad. thermite, man that shit will burn thru you like your hot butter and its molten metal.. going thru that hot butter. eh, even a regular round(bullet) can get you thinking(well, it got me thinking at the time) that a thing, around the size of your pinky finger are making a sort of geometrical patern, that something as small as a bullet is zippin by you, and may zip into you without any knowledge till it punches thru and more then likely kills you.

eh, if anybody want to have a rather equivalent idea what its like, just fill a backpack full of bricks, stand out in the dark cold rain, and every once in a while, when your not looking/cant see him, hiding somewhere, have your brother/buddy shoot you with a pellet gun, a high powered one, one that there is a good chance it'll puncture. just have then shoot you, completely random, with the pellet gun.to get that, ouch im gonna freakin die now thing going on, more or less. it would be hard to incoporate/fake actually being afraid of death, so this random pellet is the closest thing. eh, maybe take half a box of caffiene pills and then haf a box of sleeping pills, for the adrenaline/exhaustion thing, take a rasp and scratch the hell out of your elbows and knees, maybe put some small rocks/little debris in the rasped area, and now your getting some virtual reality infantry training, yippee!
eh, and if this dont drive you the slightest crazy, your stronger person then me.

Dammit !

The next time I steal a magazine at my local newsagent the magazine itself is gonna shout " HE DID NOT PAY !!! HE DID NOT PAY !!!"...

Seriously , those foldable displays are not something 50 years away....I think it was philips invented it , anyway whoever it was there's already a few (bugged) prototypes , they showed that (bizarerely for only a few brief seconds(now why's that  ) )
on some science programm I saw a year or 2 back...

It could be something positive for me you know :

Imagine How- to -perform- sex -and -give - your- girlfriend/wife- an - orgasm Vol1 being visually displayed on a girls knickers/bra :P
