Just a quick question for anyone who say Kill Bill in the cinema, Did the Japanese spoken parts have subtitles or not? Is the "house of Blue leaves" part in B&W at the cinema as well?

Also the question about the dialogue applies to "Lost in translation".

Please reply IF you've seen these at the cinema and can provide a definative answer :)

I'm going to order the Japanese version (because it's uncut) anyway, but thanks for the answers guys :)

I'll download subs in the meantime.

I saw both movies at the cinema here in France in original version : Japanese parts of dialogue in Kill Bill had subs whereas those in Lost in Translation hadn't. Don't know how these movies were distrubuted elsewhere though.

As for the House of Blue Leaves scene, it was in B&W but it is supposed to be colorized in the Japanese version.

Here's the subs for the Diamond retail rip. I got these subs from Fileheaven, and they are the just for the japanese dialogue.
