eh, i quit with the movies on mule, (mostly). very rarely will i grab one, and they are almost always from someone on this board, usually obscure films that i wouldnt ever see otherwise.
i've moved on to getting about 98% just comicbooks, with a few rare shows(darkplace), but unfortunately, thanks to the wonderful laws here, tv showsthat are copied are illegal to distribute. of course comic books are too, but beyond p2p programs, the legal concepts for these laws have HUGE reprecusions. as of recently, if i copied and pasted an article from some news site to here, i can be sued, i can be sued if my site linked to a site that has that article copied and pasted.
worse, and quite disturbing, actual scientific FACTS can now be copyrighted.
i'm sure the entertainment industry is jizzing all over themselves with the untapped postential of becoming one with the enforcement of copyright laws, they would pretty much own the distribution, removal, complete control of well, everything. who would have thought that, not the goverment, but the entertainment industry, would become Big Brother? With little shows of power, they smacked canadian law back into thier places, as just another hollywood whore. The Usa has given up any pretext of not going directly to thier knees to please the industry. not that i was ever a fan of big goverment, large corporations, and basic human greed, but these happenings of late make me sick, and generally fearfull of the future, not of swapping files on line, but the terrifying fascist and elitisism this country, and eventually the whole world, will be powerless to stop. Hell, protest, have rallies, start a newsletter, it wont do any good, the whole process is beyond listening to the common people, its all about the money, the power, and the govermental taken rights for those that have the power to keep it from the rest of us poor fools.

ah, i dont think many more 'modern' countries would let in military/combat ops dudes without some hassle, and the usa would probably put me on the 'traitor' blacklist or something along those lines. and ive dug myself a nice rut, i got a pretty nice life here. quite a few years ago, i was a little disapointed with the desemination of information thru the usa's media, from what actually happened, to the 'correct' spindoctored version that is shown on the news to the masses. kind of opened my eyes to the idea that most large goverments can, and do, what ever the hell they want to, and easily alter facts into a 'corrected' view. now with hollywood riaa mpaa whatever entertainment industry securely entrenched in the govermental working, the half lies, semi-truths, sanitized versions, or complete fabrications of events will be so much easier to influence the mass majority of people. hell, what is holywood, acting itself, if not professional liars? playing a part.
