I was wondering if this pissed off another people as much as i know it does me - when people rip a film dubbed over with a foreign language instead of the films native language im not against people from foreign countrys watching films in languages other then theyre native tongue but i feel movies should always be in the movies native language with subs for foreigners. Dont think im saying every film should be in english because it shouldnt, i respect french films should always be shown in french language with subs for other countries, italian films should always be shown in italian language with subs for other countries etc, the same way asian films are nearly always spoken in the countrys language and then with english/french/german whatever subs. it jsut really pisses me off to get a film thats (im english so for example ill use english), a film thats in english when it was made only to ahve to get english subs to watch an english film because somones dubbed over it pisses me off beyond belief. anyway thats enough of my ranting/bitching for today, also pardon my bad spelling its half 3 in the morning and im absolutely knackered. ps: for anyone whose interested i feel a lot better for getting that off my chest, and no its not a slur against foreign films or foreigners in general, i have no problems with either of them pps: im also not trying to piss anyone off or start a flame war or anything |

I watched a dubbed version of City of Lost Children and it sucked ass. All dubbed files should at least be tagged in my view, but prefereably not done. I don't think you'll get people arguing with you max, dubbing really should be confined to childrens programmes and cartoons. |

lol is it really that bad? (mangler II) the first was pretty decent, figured the sequel wouldnt be as good but the way i figure it... its bound to have sexy nice chested 20+yo lasses in it, who will do anything to achieve fame  ... maybe i need to get out more lol

I prefer to watch films in the language they were made in, if it's foreign then I use subs. I hate readingsubs, but I hate the lips moving wrong even more LOL |

man, i used to think german was the most harsh sounding language, every thing said all sounded like they were ordering someones death, until i heard norwegian spoken, i think it was in 'deadline'. it's not so much harsh sounding, its just.....i guess it sounds kind of like how it feels when someone hits me in the face with one of those whiffleball bats. kind of smarts, but its hollow plastic so it wont break anything besides cartilage. still, norweigen sounds,errr, bad. no offence to all you squeegin norwegens. i suppose english sounds bad to people who dont understand it. my favorite language that im trying to learn is bengali,(india). if i had any err, rascist feelings for a whole country, it would be india. ermmmm,though i got some india indian dudes i hang out with, go drinking on occasion, but just something about the whole country rubs me the wrong way. i cant really explain it, i guess is they all seem a bit more reserved, not as easygoing and prone to loud laughter, hyena like laughter that i am, just a bunch of polite, well mannerd people, who seem to keep a quite dignity about them, listening attentive and with interest when i speak to them, waiting until i finish a sentence before responding thoughtfully, saying 'please' and 'thank you', it really is unnerving. i guess this doesnt really sound too rascist, but that;s all i could come up with. still, it really freaks me out, the lack (at least from the 20 or so ive known) of good old fashioned full bellied loud laughfter on thier part. wierd. |
