Seriously ,any recommendations ? :?

Ofcourse not only in horror genre....

I'm talking about tunes/tones like the last 20 secs of matrix revolutions' track 14 (where dead neo gets carried away)

I'm talking about melodies like in armageddon (1996 bruce willis) when all prepare for doom after hearing the mission failed....

ahh...might be asking the wrong crowd....

Wanted to try this b4 I dump this over at fileheaven...

I've always been collecting soundtracks. getting that track 14 now to see what you're talking aboot.

First of all you NEED 'Carmina Burana - O Fortuna' used in tons of flicks. That should be in everyone's collection.

You should deinatley get the Candyman OST if you haven't allready. if you like that check out more from Philip Glass. I've become a fan.

The Omen

Exotica

Blade Runner

Mike oldfield's Tubular bells (make sure to get the original. there are aboot 6 or 7 different versions now and all the latter fade in comparison to the primary one) Used in the Exorcist among others.

Dune

Requiem for a Dream (there's also a remix album with some cool tracks)

the mascerade track from Eyes wide shut

you might wanna check out ed2k: Joe.Hisaishi.meets.Kitano.Films.by.AC99.zip  [91.91 Mb] [Stats]
and if you like that you might wanna get all ed2k: [MP3][Joe.Hisaishi]..1984.-.2001.rar  [934.90 Mb] [Stats]

and the score (not the soundtrack) from the Crow might also be what you're looking for.

if you want to try something really different check out something from Future Sound of London. Their music is wideley used in tons of things, most commonly as credits-music for tv-documentaries. start out with ed2k: FSOL.Cascade.VBR.thedonga.rar  [61.68 Mb] [Stats] and if you like that there's much much more. Very strange, scary, mystical, unpredictable and beautifull at the same time. Truley unique!
